Toppnett

Toppnett is a term used in Nordic horticulture to describe protective netting installed at the top or upper parts of greenhouses, tunnel structures, and fruit cages. The net is designed to deter birds and other pests from crops while allowing light transmission and airflow to the growing area. It may also offer some protection against hail and reduce the impact of direct sun in certain conditions.

Materials and construction vary, but toppnett is commonly made from lightweight synthetic fibers such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), with UV stabilization to extend durability.
