Tilastokeskus, known in English as Statistics Finland and in Swedish as Statistikcentralen, is Finland's national statistical institute. It serves as the central producer of official statistics and collects, processes, and publishes data on Finnish society, economy, and environment to support policy making, research, and public understanding.

The agency gathers information through surveys, administrative registers, and censuses, and coordinates data collection across public authorities to ensure comprehensive and comparable statistics.
