Tietosuojavirasto

The Tietosuojavirasto, or Data Protection Authority, is the Finnish national supervisory authority responsible for the protection of personal data and privacy. Established in 2000, it operates under the Ministry of Justice and is tasked with ensuring that the processing of personal data complies with Finnish and European Union data protection laws.

The Tietosuojavirasto's primary functions include:
