TicStörung is a German term referring to tic disorders. Tic disorders are neurological conditions characterized by sudden, rapid, recurrent, nonrhythmic motor movements or vocalizations called tics. These tics can be simple, involving a few muscle groups or brief sounds, or complex, encompassing more elaborate movements or vocalizations.
