Ti64
Ti-64, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, is a widely used alpha-beta titanium alloy designed for high strength and good corrosion resistance. It contains about 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, with the remainder titanium. Commonly referred to as Grade 5, it is the most prevalent titanium alloy for structural applications, and an extra-low interstitial (ELI) version is used for medical implants.
The alloy combines a high strength-to-weight ratio with good toughness and corrosion resistance. Typical density is
Applications of Ti-64 span aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors. It is used for airframes, fasteners, landing-gear
