Testtartáselemzés, often translated as posture analysis, is a method used to assess an individual's posture. This analysis involves observing and evaluating the alignment of the body's segments in relation to gravity and in various positions, such as standing, sitting, or even during specific movements. The goal is to identify any deviations from an ideal or neutral posture, which can be indicative of underlying musculoskeletal imbalances, habitual stresses, or potential health concerns.

During a testtartáselemzés, trained professionals, such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, or kinesiologists, typically observe the body from multiple angles. They look for asymmetries, excessive curves, or misalignments in the spine, shoulders, pelvis, and extremities. This can be done visually, or with the aid of specialized equipment like plumb lines, goniometers, or digital analysis software that captures and measures postural angles.

Common findings in a posture analysis might include a rounded upper back (kyphosis), an exaggerated lower back curve (lordosis), a forward head posture, or uneven shoulder or hip levels. The interpretation of these findings is crucial. While some postural variations are normal, significant deviations can contribute to pain, reduced mobility, and an increased risk of injury. Understanding these imbalances allows for the development of targeted interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, stretches, ergonomic adjustments, or manual therapy, aimed at improving posture and alleviating associated symptoms.
