Termometrat

Termometrat is a term occasionally used to describe a temperature measurement device that combines a sensing element with integrated electronics to process and display or transmit readings. It is not a standard term in thermometry, and its exact meaning can vary by context. In general, a termometrat refers to a compact instrument designed to measure temperature and provide an electronic output.

A typical termometrat consists of a sensing element, such as a thermistor, a resistance temperature detector (RTD), or a thermocouple, paired with signal conditioning and a processing unit. The sensing element converts temperature into a change in electrical signal, which is then amplified, linearized, and digitized by a microcontroller or dedicated IC. Non-contact forms using infrared sensing are also described within the broader concept, though these are often categorized separately as infrared thermometers.
