Teravustamist

Teravustamist is the process of making something sharper or more acute. The word comes from terav, meaning sharp, and the suffix -ustamine, and it is used in both literal and more figurative contexts to describe increasing sharpness, clarity or intensity.

In practical terms, teravustamist often refers to sharpening edges of tools and blades. Common methods include grinding, honing and stropping, using equipment such as sharpening stones, grinders or honing guides.
