Tauros

Tauros is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I of the Pokémon video games. It is modeled after a large bull, with brown fur, a white mane, and three tails. Its horns and muscular build emphasize its aggressive nature, and it is commonly depicted as swift and powerful in physical combat.

In the core games, Tauros is most commonly encountered in the Safari Zone of the Kanto region, though it appears in other locations in various generations. It tends to be territorial and will charge opponents when threatened, making it a strong offensive option for players who prefer physical attacks.

Tauros' standard ability is Intimidate, which lowers opponents' Attack when it enters the battlefield; some games offer Anger Point as an alternate ability, and its Hidden Ability is Sheer Force.

Tauros does not evolve from or into another Pokémon, but it can learn a wide range of Normal-type moves and coverage moves through leveling, TMs, and breeding.

The name Tauros derives from the Greek or Latin root for "bull" (tauros/taurus), reflecting its bovine design. The Pokémon has appeared in various media and is often used as a symbol of brute force and speed in the franchise.
