Tarabai
Tarabai was a prominent Maratha queen and regent who played a crucial role in the Maratha Empire during the early 18th century. Born in 1675, she was the daughter of Hambirrao Mohite, a Maratha general, and the wife of Rajaram I, the younger son of Shivaji Maharaj. Following Rajaram's death in 1700, Tarabai assumed leadership as regent for her young son, Shivaji II.

However, her reign eventually saw internal strife. After the release of Shahu I, Shivaji II's cousin and
