Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins is an American singer and rapper best known as a member of the R&B group TLC. Along with Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, she rose to prominence in the 1990s as part of one of the era's most successful girl groups. TLC formed in Atlanta in the early 1990s and released their debut album Ooooooooh... On the TLC Tip (1992), which included hits such as Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg and Baby-Baby-Baby. The group achieved international fame with CrazySexyCool (1994), featuring Creep, Waterfalls, and Red Light Special, establishing TLC as a leading force in pop and R&B.

T-Boz contributed as a vocalist and occasional songwriter, known for her raspy alto and emotive delivery. The group’s subsequent albums, including FanMail (1999) with No Scrubs and Unpretty, reinforced their status, and TLC has sold over 65 million records worldwide. In 2002, founding member Lisa Lopes died in a car accident; TLC continued with Chilli and T-Boz, releasing 3D later that year.

Beyond recording, T-Boz has spoken publicly about living with sickle cell anemia, using her platform to raise awareness and support related charities. She remains active in music and entertainment projects and is remembered as a central figure in 1990s R&B for her distinctive voice and contributions to TLC's sound.
