Rozonda

Rozonda Thomas, known by her stage name Chilli, (born February 27, 1971) is an American singer, dancer, and actress. She is best known as a member of TLC, one of the most successful American R&B girl groups of the 1990s and beyond.

Thomas was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined TLC in the early 1990s as the third member alongside Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, contributing as a vocalist and dancer. The group released several influential albums in the 1990s, including a 1992 debut and the 1994 breakthrough CrazySexyCool, which featured chart-topping singles such as “Waterfalls.” TLC continued to achieve commercial and critical success with subsequent releases, including FanMail in 1999 and 3D in 2002.

The group’s lineup shifted after Lopes’s death in 2002, with Thomas and Watkins continuing as TLC for a period and maintaining the group’s legacy. Beyond TLC, Thomas has pursued acting roles and various solo and collaborative music projects, as well as charitable and public appearances.

Thomas is widely recognized for her role in TLC, a group credited with influencing contemporary R&B and pop through distinctive vocal harmonies, choreography, and fashion. TLC has earned multiple awards, including Grammys and MTV Video Music Awards, and is regarded as among the best-selling girl groups of all time.
