TBMMde
TBMMde is the locational form in Turkish that means “in the Turkish Grand National Assembly” or “within the TBMM.” The acronym TBMM stands for Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, the unicameral national parliament of the Republic of Turkey. The assembly is based in Ankara and consists of 600 members elected for five-year terms by proportional representation. Its main functions are to enact laws, approve the national budget, and exercise oversight of the executive through inquiries, investigations, and parliamentary committees. The TBMM also elects the Speaker of the Parliament and other presiding officers, and it participates in ratifying international treaties and, under defined procedures, constitutional amendments.
