Tässas

Tässas is a fictional creature from the planet Xylos. It is a herbivorous quadruped known for its bioluminescent fur and distinctive crest of antennae. The Tässas typically inhabits the dense, phosphorescent forests of Xylos's equatorial regions. Its diet consists mainly of luminous fungi and nutrient-rich mosses that grow on the ancient trees.

The Tässas possesses large, multi-faceted eyes that allow it to see effectively in the low-light conditions of its environment. The bioluminescence in its fur is believed to serve multiple purposes, including camouflage amongst the glowing flora, communication within its social groups, and possibly as a deterrent to predators. The antennae on its head are highly sensitive, detecting subtle changes in air currents and the presence of specific chemical compounds, aiding in navigation and foraging.
