Süüteprobleem is an Estonian term that translates to "ignition problem" or "starting problem" in English. It refers to a malfunction or issue that prevents an engine, typically in a vehicle, from starting or running correctly. This can manifest in various ways, such as the engine failing to turn over, turning over but not firing, or running roughly after starting.

The causes of a süüteprobleem can be diverse, spanning electrical and mechanical components. Common culprits include a weak or dead battery, faulty spark plugs, issues with the ignition coil, problems with the starter motor, or a clogged fuel filter preventing adequate fuel delivery. Less common causes might involve the ignition switch, fuel pump, or even the engine control unit (ECU).

Diagnosing a süüteprobleem often involves a systematic approach, checking for the presence of spark at the spark plugs, ensuring sufficient fuel is reaching the engine, and verifying the battery has adequate voltage.
