Søvnrytmer
Søvnrytmer, also known as circadian rhythms, are natural, internal processes that regulate the sleep-wake cycle and repeat roughly every 24 hours. These rhythms are influenced by a master clock in the brain called the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN), which receives signals from the eyes about light exposure. Light is the primary cue that synchronizes our internal clock with the external environment. When it's light, the SCN signals the body to be awake, and when it's dark, it signals for sleep.
Disruptions to these natural rhythms can occur due to various factors. Shift work, jet lag, irregular sleep
Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, even on weekends, is crucial for supporting healthy sleep rhythms. Exposure
