Személyadatoknál

Személyadatoknál is a Hungarian term that translates to "personal data" in English. It refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes a wide range of data, such as names, addresses, email addresses, identification numbers, location data, online identifiers, and any other information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual.

The concept of "személyadatok" is central to data protection laws in Hungary and across the European Union, most notably the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These regulations aim to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, particularly their right to privacy, with respect to the processing of their personal data.

Processing of személyadatok is subject to strict rules. It must be lawful, fair, and transparent. Data should be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes. The principle of data minimization dictates that only data that is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed should be collected. Furthermore, personal data must be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. It should be kept in a form that permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.

Individuals have certain rights concerning their personal data, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object to processing. Data controllers have obligations to ensure the security of personal data, protect it against unauthorized or unlawful processing, and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
