Syvävetämällä

Syvävetämällä, a Finnish term, translates to "deep drawing" in English. It is a metal forming process used to shape sheet metal into a hollow shape, such as a cup or box. This is achieved by stretching a piece of sheet metal, typically a circular blank, into a die cavity. The process involves a punch pressing the metal into a die, forcing it to conform to the shape of the die cavity.
