Symfoniorkestern

Symfoniorkestern, often referred to as a symphony orchestra, is a large instrumental ensemble typically comprising approximately 80 to 100 musicians. The core of a symphony orchestra is built around the string section, which includes violins, violas, cellos, and double basses. These instruments, in their various sizes, form the largest and most prominent part of the orchestra, providing a rich and resonant sound.

Woodwind instruments also play a crucial role, offering a diverse range of tonal colors. This section includes flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons, with their families extending to piccolo, English horn, bass clarinet, and contrabassoon.
