Swarovski

Swarovski is an Austrian multinational corporation known for precision-cut crystal glass and related products. Based in Wattens, Tyrol, the company was founded in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski, who pioneered machine-assisted glass cutting that enabled mass production of faceted crystals. During the 20th century, Swarovski expanded from chandeliers and decorative glass into jewelry, fashion accessories, and a range of consumer products, while also developing its optical division.

The group operates several divisions, including Swarovski Crystal, which produces crystals for jewelry, home décor, and fashion; Swarovski Optik, which manufactures binoculars, spotting scopes, and riflescopes; and Swarovski Lighting, which offers lighting fixtures and design solutions. The company also operates Swarovski Crystal Worlds, a museum and experiential attraction in Wattens opened in 1995 to mark the centennial of the business.

Swarovski remains privately held and controlled by the Swarovski family, with a global network of production and marketing facilities. Its products are marketed worldwide and are associated with high-quality crystals and precision optics used in fashion, home décor, bird-watching, and outdoor observation.
