Sumeus

Sumeus is a fictional genus of flowering plants devised for speculative biology and world-building exercises. It is not a real taxon and has no standing in scientific nomenclature. In most world-building schemes, Sumeus belongs to a fictional family Sumeaceae in the order Sumerales, within the class Magnoliopsida. The name is commonly treated as Latinized, following standard conventions for plant genera.
