Sukellusten

Sukellusten is a genus of marine invertebrates belonging to the phylum Cnidaria, class Hydrozoa. These organisms are closely related to other small, colonial, and benthic cnidarians and are known for their distinctive body structure and ecological roles within marine environments.

Typically found in shallow coastal waters, sukellusten form dense colonies on rocks, shells, and other submerged surfaces. These colonies are composed of numerous interconnected polyps that work collectively for feeding, defense, and reproduction. The polyps possess tentacles used for capturing plankton and small fish, which are then transported to the mouth located at the base of the colony.
