Stykkishólmur

Stykkishólmur is a town and municipality in the Western Region of Iceland. It lies on the northern shore of Breiðafjörður, at the eastern end of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. It functions as a regional service center for surrounding rural districts and as a gateway for maritime travel to the Westfjords and the Breiðafjörður island groups.
