StrikeCalcM
StrikeCalcM is a software tool and analytics framework designed to model and compute strike-related metrics for baseball pitching analysis. It integrates pitch trajectory modeling, strike-zone geometry, and batter response to estimate the probability that a given pitch results in a strike, balls in play, or fouls. The tool supports Monte Carlo simulations and Bayesian updating to incorporate new data as it becomes available. It provides a modular architecture with core engines for physics-based trajectory calculation, a probabilistic strike-zone module, and data adapters for common data sources such as Statcast-style data.
Users can run scenario analyses, compare pitcher repertoires, and quantify umpire variability in call outcomes. Output
