In IT and data centers, stationmaintained can describe components that are regularly serviced by a centralized support team.

Key processes typically associated with stationmaintained programs include preventive maintenance planning, corrective maintenance, inventory management, service-record keeping, and adherence to service level agreements. Modern implementations often rely on computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and diagnostic data to schedule work and track asset health.
