Stardis
Stardis is a fictional spacecraft from the popular science fiction franchise, Doctor Who. It is the time machine and interstellar spaceship of the Doctor, the show's protagonist. The TARDIS is famously larger on the inside than it appears on the outside, a characteristic attributed to its dimensionally transcendental nature. Its exterior is designed to resemble a 1950s British police box, a choice made by the Doctor due to a malfunctioning chameleon circuit which has been stuck in that form for centuries. The interior of the TARDIS is vast and complex, containing numerous rooms, laboratories, and the control room where the Doctor pilots the vessel.
The TARDIS is capable of traveling through time and space to virtually any point in the universe.
