Sravanabelagola
Sravanabelagola is a Jain pilgrimage town located near Hassan district in Karnataka, India. It is famous for its 57-foot tall statue of Lord Bahubali, known as Gomateshwara. This colossal statue is carved from a single granite boulder and is one of the largest monolithic statues in the world. The town is situated on the Vindhyagiri Hill, which is one of two hills in the area, the other being Chandragiri.
