Spårningskoppling

Spårningskoppling, or tracking coupling, is a term used in software development and IT operations to describe a technique for linking related pieces of data or events that originate from different systems or processes. The primary goal is to enable end-to-end visibility and traceability across a complex system, often involving multiple microservices, databases, or external applications.

This concept is crucial for debugging, performance monitoring, and security analysis. When an issue arises, a spårningskoppling allows developers or operators to follow the path of a request or transaction as it moves through various components. By associating a unique identifier, often a trace ID or correlation ID, with each step of the process, it becomes possible to reconstruct the entire sequence of events.
