Spansions
Spansion was a company that manufactured flash memory. It was formed in 1999 as a joint venture between AMD and Fujitsu, initially named Fujitsu AMD Semiconductor Limited. The company was later renamed Spansion LLC in 2003. Spansion was a significant player in the non-volatile memory market, producing embedded flash memory, NOR flash, and NAND flash solutions. Their products were commonly found in a wide range of electronic devices, including automotive systems, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment.
In 2009, Spansion filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. It emerged from bankruptcy later that year as
