Souvisí

Souvisí is the third person singular present tense form of the Czech verb souviset, which means to be related or connected. The core sense is that two elements—facts, events, statements, or ideas—have a logical, contextual, or causal connection. In Czech, this relation is commonly expressed with the preposition s followed by the instrumental case, for example: Toto tvrzení souvisí s předchozím výzkumem (This claim relates to the previous research).

Usage and nuance. Souviset describes a general or ongoing relation rather than a single action. It can cover causal connections, correlations, or contextual relevance. It is often used in academic, journalistic, and analytic writing to indicate how one item is linked to another, or how a point follows from or depends on something else.
