Sonyeondan
Sonyeondan, literally translating to “boy scouts” in Korean, refers to Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단), a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. The group consists of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The Korean name translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts,” a concept the group initially embraced; in 2017 they adopted the English branding Beyond The Scene (BTS) while continuing to use BTS as the primary name.
