Jimin

Jimin, born Park Ji-min on October 13, 1995, is a South Korean singer and dancer who is a member of BTS, a global boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE Corporation). He is recognized for his melodic vocal tone and precise dance technique, and he serves as a main vocalist and lead dancer in the group.

Born in Busan, South Korea, Jimin began training in contemporary dance and later attended Busan High School of Arts. He joined Big Hit as a trainee after being encouraged by teachers and mentors who saw his potential.

Jimin debuted with BTS in 2013, and the group achieved international fame through a string of successful albums, tours, and collaborations. In BTS, he has contributed as a vocalist and performer on numerous tracks and is known for performances that emphasize expressiveness and emotion; solo material from him includes the songs Lie (2016) and Serendipity (2017), which showcased his range and artistry.

In 2023, he released his first solo project, the album FACE, which featured the single Like Crazy and broadened his musical scope beyond group activities.

In addition to music, Jimin participates in charitable campaigns with BTS, notably the Love Myself campaign with UNICEF, and he has become a prominent figure in South Korea's public profile for fashion and performance.
