Songpagu

Songpagu is a district located in the southeastern part of Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul, often referred to as "gu" (구). Songpagu is known for its blend of residential areas, commercial centers, and significant cultural and recreational facilities.

The district is home to Lotte World, a major recreational complex that includes a large indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park, a shopping mall, a luxury hotel, and the Seoul Sky observation deck. Olympic Park, a vast green space that hosted many events during the 1988 Seoul Olympics, is also situated within Songpagu. This park features sports facilities, museums, and a significant sculpture park, making it a popular destination for both athletes and the general public.

Songpagu is a densely populated area with a significant residential component, offering a wide range of housing options from apartments to more traditional homes. It is well-connected to other parts of Seoul through its extensive public transportation network, including several subway lines that serve the district. The Han River forms a natural boundary to the north of Songpagu, providing scenic views and recreational opportunities along its banks. The district's economy is supported by retail, tourism, and various service industries.
