Skógar
Skógar is a rural settlement in southern Iceland, located along Route 1 near the Ring Road, close to the Skógafoss waterfall and the Skógá river between Vík í Mýrdal and Hvolsvöllur. The name Skógar means “groves” or “woods” in Icelandic.
