Skyhawk
Skyhawk refers to a common name for several species of birds of prey, most notably within the genus Buteo. These birds are characterized by their broad wings and soaring flight. The Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) is perhaps the most widely recognized species known as a Skyhawk in North America. It is a large hawk with a distinctive reddish-brown tail, which gives it its name. Red-tailed Hawks are found across the continent and inhabit a variety of environments, from deserts to forests and urban areas.
Another species sometimes referred to as a Skyhawk is the Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo), prevalent across Europe
