Skimme
Skimme refers to a type of card skimming device, an electronic component designed to illegally capture data from the magnetic stripe of a credit or debit card. These devices are typically installed covertly on legitimate card readers, such as those found at ATMs, point-of-sale terminals, or gas pumps. When a card is swiped, the skimmer reads and stores the cardholder's information, including the account number, expiration date, and sometimes the cardholder's name and security code.
