Sisselaskerõhu

Sisselaskerõhu, also known as intake manifold pressure or manifold absolute pressure (MAP), is a critical parameter in internal combustion engines. It refers to the pressure within the intake manifold, which is the component that distributes air or air-fuel mixture to the cylinders. Monitoring sisselaskerõhu is essential for engine control units (ECUs) to accurately determine the amount of air entering the engine.

The pressure in the intake manifold fluctuates based on several factors. During deceleration or when the throttle is closed, the manifold pressure is low, approaching a vacuum. Conversely, when the throttle is wide open, especially in naturally aspirated engines, the manifold pressure approaches atmospheric pressure. In turbocharged or supercharged engines, the sisselaskerõhu can exceed atmospheric pressure, resulting in positive pressure.

Sensors, typically MAP sensors, measure this pressure and send the data to the ECU. The ECU then uses this information, along with other inputs like engine speed and throttle position, to calculate the optimal amount of fuel to inject and the precise timing of ignition. This accurate control of air-fuel mixture and ignition timing is vital for efficient combustion, optimal engine performance, and reduced emissions. Variations in sisselaskerõhu can indicate potential issues such as vacuum leaks, clogged air filters, or problems with the throttle body or turbocharger.
