Sirethwith is a fictional coastal town in the realm of Veridia. Located along the southern coast, it sits at the mouth of the River Lorn and serves as a modest trade and fishing port. The town has a compact historic center and a crescent harbor, with an estimated population of about 3,200 residents.

Sirethwith traces its origins to 12th-century settlers from the Sireth line, receiving a local charter in 1172 under King Alderic. It endured periodic conflicts during the Veridian Wars and the Wars of Succession, with rebuilding after a major fire in the mid-15th century. Today it is governed by a town council of eight members elected for four-year terms, led by a mayor, and it forms part of the Northcliffe District.

Geography and economy: The town is perched on a rocky coast with a nearby inland hill and pine forests. The harbor supports a fishing fleet and crafts trades, including ropeworks and shipwrights. Markets trade seafood, timber, and farm produce from surrounding hinterlands. Coastal roads and seasonal ferries maintain links to larger urban centers.

Demographics and culture: The community is diverse, including humans, elves, and dwarves, with Veridian Common serving as a lingua franca. Religious life centers on Saint Heran’s Chapel, and seasonal community gatherings reinforce local culture. The Tide Festival celebrates the harbor’s role in the economy each summer.
