Shirotori
Shirotori is a town located in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is situated in the former Shirotori town, which was formed in 1954 through the merger of several smaller villages. In 2005, Shirotori merged with the towns of Hokuno and Kinjō, along with the villages of Kangama and Shimouma, to form the new town of Gujō. Therefore, Shirotori as an independent administrative entity no longer exists, but its name is still used to refer to the area within Gujō.
