Shikotsumyaku

Shikotsumyaku is a unique kekkei genkai, or bloodline ability, that originates from the Kaguya clan in the Naruto series. It allows the user to manipulate their own bone structure, enabling them to grow and shape their bones at will. This control extends to hardening their bones to make them more durable or even extruding them from their body to be used as offensive weapons.

Users of Shikotsumyaku can perform various feats with this ability. They can rapidly generate bone shards to launch at opponents, form bone spikes from their limbs for close-quarters combat, or create bone shields for defense. The most notable application is the ability to transform their entire skeleton into a weaponized form, as demonstrated by Kimimaro Kaguya. This transformation allows for incredible offensive capabilities, turning the user's body into a living arsenal of sharp bone protrusions.

The creation and manipulation of bones require a significant amount of chakra from the user. While powerful, the overuse of Shikotsumyaku can be physically taxing and lead to exhaustion. The Kaguya clan, unfortunately, was wiped out due to their aggressive nature and the destructive potential of their kekkei genkai, leaving Kimimaro as one of the few known individuals to possess this ability.
