Shaybah
Shaybah is a remote desert region located in the southeastern part of Saudi Arabia, close to the border with the United Arab Emirates and Oman. It is most famously known for the Shaybah oil field, one of the world's largest oil fields. The region is characterized by vast sand dunes, part of the Rub' al Khali, also known as the Empty Quarter. The climate is extremely arid with very high temperatures, especially during the summer months, and minimal rainfall.
