Servosüsteem

A servosysteem is a control system that uses a feedback loop to regulate a mechanical system. The term "servo" originates from the Latin word "servus," meaning servant, which reflects the system's role in precisely following commands. At its core, a servosysteem consists of a controller, a motor, a sensor, and a mechanism to be controlled. The controller determines the desired position or action, and sends a signal to the motor. The motor, often an electric motor, then moves the mechanism. A sensor, such as an encoder or potentiometer, measures the actual position or state of the mechanism and sends this information back to the controller. This feedback allows the controller to compare the actual state with the desired state and make adjustments to the motor's output to minimize any error. This continuous process of sensing, comparing, and correcting is what enables servosysteemen to achieve high precision and stability in their operation. Servosysteemen are widely used in robotics, automation, aerospace, and various industrial applications where accurate motion control is critical.
