Semiquantitativeness
Semiquantitativeness refers to a descriptive approach that falls between purely qualitative and strictly quantitative measurements. It involves categorizing or ranking data into a limited number of discrete groups or levels, often with an implied or approximate numerical value. This method is useful when precise numerical data is difficult or impossible to obtain, but a simple qualitative description is insufficient.
For example, instead of stating a temperature is "hot" or "cold" (qualitative), or providing an exact Celsius
Semiquantitative methods are frequently employed in fields such as social sciences, environmental assessments, and medical diagnostics
