Seilfähren
Seilfähren, also known as cable ferries or rope ferries, are a type of ferry that is propelled and guided by a cable or rope. These ferries typically operate on relatively short crossings, such as rivers or narrow straits. The cable can be anchored at both ends of the crossing or run from a winch on the ferry itself.
