Schäferhunde

Schäferhunde, commonly known as German Shepherd Dogs, are a breed of medium-to-large-sized working dog that originated in Germany. They are renowned for their intelligence, loyalty, and versatility. Developed by Max von Stephanitz in the late 19th century, the breed was initially bred for herding sheep, hence the name. However, their keen intellect and trainability quickly led to their adoption for a wide range of working roles.

German Shepherds possess a distinctive appearance, characterized by a strong, muscular build, a noble head, and erect ears. Their coat is typically dense and double-layered, coming in various colors, most commonly black and tan, sable, or solid black.
