Schemelets

Schemelets are small, self-contained units designed to be combined into larger schemes or workflows. They function as modular building blocks that encapsulate a specific task, rule, or transformation, enabling reuse and easier maintenance within complex systems.

Definition and interfaces

A schemelet typically exposes a declarative interface consisting of inputs, outputs, and, optionally, preconditions or constraints. The implementation may be expressed as code, rules, or configuration. Each schemelet is designed to be deployed independently and versioned, so updates do not automatically disrupt other parts of the scheme.
