Saqqaq
Saqqaq is a settlement in the Avannaata municipality in northwestern Greenland. It is located on the eastern side of the Nuussuaq Peninsula, overlooking the Disko Bay. As of 2023, Saqqaq has a population of approximately 200 people, making it one of the smaller settlements in the region.
The settlement's history is closely tied to its Arctic environment and the traditional Inuit way of life.
