Salonkinäytökset, meaning "parlor performances" or "drawing-room performances" in English, refers to a historical form of private entertainment held in the homes of wealthy individuals or in dedicated salon spaces. These events were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, particularly in Europe and North America. They offered a more intimate and often sophisticated alternative to public theaters and music halls.

The nature of salonkinäytökset varied greatly. They could include musical performances by amateur or professional musicians, poetry readings, dramatic recitations, magic shows, or even theatrical sketches. Hosts would invite guests, typically friends, acquaintances, and other members of high society, to share in these cultural experiences.
