Sadh
Sadh is a term that can refer to different uses in South Asian languages and onomastics. In linguistic usage, sadh or sādha functions as a stem linked to the verb root meaning to accomplish, to be steadfast, or to fulfill. It appears in several Sanskrit-derived terms such as sadhana, meaning disciplined spiritual practice; sadhak or sadhika, meaning practitioner or seeker; and in compounds describing steadfastness or achievement. In transliterations, the form sadh is sometimes used to render related sounds in English text, but it is not an independent word in Sanskrit.
