Søvnproblemene, often translated as sleep problems or sleep disorders, encompass a wide range of conditions that affect an individual's ability to fall asleep, stay asleep, or experience restful sleep. These issues can have significant negative impacts on physical health, mental well-being, and daily functioning.

Common types of sleep problems include insomnia, characterized by persistent difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep; narcolepsy, a neurological disorder causing excessive daytime sleepiness; sleep apnea, where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep; and restless legs syndrome, an irresistible urge to move the legs, especially at night.
